Ticket Types

There are 9 types of tickets:

• Peak Day Single Day Admission
• Peak Day Special Admission
• Standard Day Single Day Admission
• Standard Day Special Admission
• 3 Day Admission
• 7 Day Admission
• Evening Admission
• Group Admission
• Student Group Admission

There are 19 Peak Days in total:

• First 3 days after opening
• Labour Day holiday (May 1, 2010 to May 3, 2010)
• China's national day (From Oct 1, 2010 to Oct 7, 2010)
• The last 7 days of the expo (Oct 25, 2010 to Oct 31,2010)

Standard Days are any non-peak days from May 1, 2010 to Oct 31, 2010, 168 days in total.

Peak Day tickets can enter the expo zone on the designated day or any Standard Day.

Standard Day tickets can enter the expo zone on any standard day, but can not enter on peak day.

3 Day and 7 Day tickets can enter in any standard day other than Peak Day 3 or 7 times, but only one time in one day.

Evening Admission must enter after 17:00, and only available in standard day.

Group Admission for no less than 15 people, Student Group Admission is for no less 30 student, both ticket types require reservations in advance.

Special Admission is for these following people:

• Disabled
• People born in or before 1950
• Students with valid IDs
• Children above 1.2m
• Chinese military personnel on active duty

For Special Admission, Valid IDs are required upon ticket purchase and entry, and can enter on designated day or any Standard Day

All tickets only can enter once in the entry day (3 day or 7 day tickets is 3 tickets or 7 tickets in actual)

Children shorter than 1.2m can enter for free.

Sale Phases

There are 4 sale phases. The basic standard day price (RMB 160 Yuan, about $23 USD / £15 / €17). There is a discount for early purchase.

• Phase 1: (Mar 27, 2009-Jun 30, 2009) Purchase is only available for groups. Only Peak Single Day Admission (RMB 170) and Standard Single Day Admission (RMB 130) are available.
• Phase 2: (Jul 1, 2009-Dec 31, 2009) Both groups and individuals can purchase in this phase. Only Peak Single Day Admission (RMB 180) and Standard Single Day Admission (RMB 140) are available.
• Phase 3: (Jan 1, 2010-Apr 30, 2010) Both groups and individuals can purchase in this phase. Peak Single Day Admission (RMB 190), Peak Day Special Admission (RMB 110), Standard Single Day Admission (RMB 150), Standard Day Special Admission (RMB 90), 3 Day Admission (RMB 400) and 7 Day Admission (RMB 900) are available.
• Phase 4: (EXPO Time, May 1, 2010-Oct 31, 2010) Both groups and individuals can purchase in this phase. Peak Single Day Admission (RMB 200), Peak Special Admission (RMB 120), Standard Single Day Admission (RMB 160), Standard Day Special Admission (RMB 100), 3 Day Admission (RMB 400), 7 Day Admission (RMB 900) and Evening admission (RMB 90) are available at this phase.

The group tickets are only sold through authorized travel agents in the form of a tour package. The Student Group Admission is only sold through authorized travel agents in the form of tour package for students or through educational institutes.

Ticket types and regulations
